Short bio:

My name is Meitav. I'm 18 years old and a college student at Adelphi University, majoring in Psychology and Elementary Education, while taking a bold step into the world of Miss Israel 2025.

Extended Bio:

Growing up in Long Island, NY, I was always a shy kid, never one to step into the spotlight. But deep down, I had a dream—to model, to express myself, to embrace something bigger than my comfort zone. Until now, I never pursued it. This competition is my way of challenging myself, proving that stepping into the unknown can lead to growth.

I come from a proud Israeli American family, with both of my parents born in Israel. My heritage, my identity, and my resilience come from them, and I carry that strength with me into this journey. Even my name carries power—it is also the name of an IDF military base unit - a symbol of strength, protection, love and dedication to Israel. I wear that meaning with pride, knowing that names, like people, hold deeper significance.

I will be competing among incredibly accomplished Jewish women, and it is truly an honor. I am not famous by any stretch, but I am here to embrace this opportunity with pride, knowing that dreams don’t require recognition—they require courage. As a kid, I would sit in front of the TV, watching the Miss Israel pageant, imagining myself on that stage, feeling the excitement, the energy, the magic. Now, that dream is becoming reality.

Beyond this competition, I am also deeply committed to supporting the Jewish community at Adelphi University. I am very active with the largest Jewish Organization in my school. Next semester I was selected to be on Eboard as a Operations Chairwoman at Chabad at Adelphi, I will work to uplift and empower Jewish students, creating a space where we can strengthen our faith, support one another, and stand together with pride. Now, more than ever, is the time for us to stay strong, to lift each other up, and to show the world the power of unity.

I believe every Israeli woman carries the essence of Miss Israel—our grace, our power, our ability to stand strong no matter what comes our way. This isn’t just about winning a title. It’s about celebrating who we are, inspiring others to break through their fears, and showing that even the quietest dreams deserve to be chased.

Personal Goals: 

Through this competition, I want to grow into the most confident version of myself, embracing every challenge with courage. I want to inspire other young women—especially those who feel shy or uncertain—to take risks and chase their dreams.

I also want to represent the unwavering strength of Israel and its women. No matter what challenges come our way, we stand together, proud, resilient, and ready to shine.
