My name is Kessem Abergel,

I am 23 years old, an artist and a creator who believes deeply in the strength that comes from expressing the soul. I was born into a Moroccan and Iraqi family, and the connection to my roots, to nature, and to my family is the foundation of who I am.

My life journey has not been easy. I have gone through physical violence, social exclusion, unhealthy relationships, and a difficult and unsupportive relationship with people who are dear to me . But instead of letting the pain define me, I turned it into something meaningful. I found healing through creativity, movement, and inner growth.

Art, music, dance, and sport are my ways of communicating with the world and with myself. I believe that we are not meant to hold everything inside. We are meant to express, to move, to create. That is how we stay truly healthy in our mind, body, and spirit. For me, sport, creativity, and nature are not just interests. They are the language of my soul.

I live by values that are old but timeless. I believe in family love, in staying true to who you are, and in making space for our emotions. I have learned that when I take care of myself with honesty and love, I am stronger and freer. And when I choose to love, I grow. I love myself. I love my family. I love my path, even with all its challenges.

Personal Goals

In this competition, my goal is to be a voice for authenticity and self-love. I believe that everything I put into my body and soul is what I will bring into the world. If I feed myself with care, kindness, and healthy choices, that is exactly what I will radiate to others.

Self-love, for me, is a way of life. It is how I speak to myself, how I move, how I eat, how I create, how I rest. 

When I take care of myself from the inside out, I can truly be present for others. I can love more. I can give more. And I believe that there is nothing stronger or more beautiful than pure love — the kind that begins from within and flows outward.
